At the end of 5 weeks, teams submit the work to the Knowbility panel of judges, made up of accessibility experts from around the country. The winning project is announced in March 2018.
Upon your approval, your website will go live, at your current website URL (replacing your current web site) or at the URL of your choosing.
If you do not already have a web host or a domain name (URL or web address), Knowbility will provide you with information on how to do that. You will pay for your domain name and web hosting directly to the vendor you choose – your payment will not go through Knowbility. You will need to budget $100 to pay for web hosting and your domain name for one year with whatever vendor you choose. OR, if you do not already have a web host or a domain name, Knowbility will host your web site on its server, for free, for ONE year.
If you already have a web host and domain name, you can give access to your team at the end of the event to upload your new web site.
